YOU SPOONY BARD!
All the Final Fantasies were good... no scratch that... they were marvelous. Why? Here ya go...
Final Fantasy- The game that started it all. NES graphics were top-notch at the time and created a quest for NES users to play and play.
Final Fantasy VI- The introduction of the ATB (active time battle) system in every installment till X. First to have a character the story revolved around and graphics were good for a first generation SNES game.
Final Fantasy V- Not released for the SNES in the US but for the PS in FF-Anthology. First (sides FF III) to use the Job System.
Final Fantasy VI- Considered the best in the series. Told a supurb story. Had great graphics for the SNES. A multitude of characters. And a hour ending sequence. What's not to like.
Final Fantasy VII- Overhyped? Yes. A great game? Yes. First on the PS? Yes. Great Graphics? Yes. Great story? Yes.
Final Fantasy VIII- Realistic characters and a love story unsurpassed by any other. I didn't like this one as much but it is still worthy of the FF name by far. I absolutely love the opening sequence to this one.
Final Fantasy XI- A throwback to the older FFs with a more fantasy approach. Great graphics squeezing every ounce of power outta the PS1. A great ending to an era.
Final Fantasy X- The first on the PS2. Now that i've played it extensively I can write about it. The story may be slightly weaker than the previous installments but even then it's a great storyline. The voices (although I don't like Tidus') add something you never had before to the game. The ability to switch characters out in battle alone had me bowing down to my Playstation 2. The new battle system and new AP system are also great. This game has just about taken over my life and almost taken the spot reserved by VII to be the best game in the series.
